The buck pen here at Deb P Nigerians is a delightful, if...um...well...'stanky' ?...place to visit. Dav-Lyn, Pride Of Texas, Good Measure Farm, Twin Creeks, and of course my own herdname are well represented there. |
| DAV-LYN BILL-E-CLIN-TON
Well, even the finest president can only remain in office so long, and my beloved Prez worked himself right out of a job. With over half of my does being his daughters or granddaughters, it was time for this wonderful guy to move on and on Dec. 15, 2007, I did what I never thought I would....Prez now belongs to someone else. But as the solid foundation my herd is built on, he will forever remain here, at the top of the buck page. (There is no doubt in my mind that had I not bought this buck from Lynn McAdoo, I would not be where, what, and who I am today...it was truely a life-changing event that I thank God - and Lynn - for every single day. Never question the impact an animal can have on your life.) http://www.debpnigerians.com/davlynbilleclinton.htm

No, I don't usually leave horns on my goats, they're dangerous. But "Cabrito", as he's known at home, was bitten by a spider at 6 days old and spent the rest of his first two months fighting off the infection, so couldn't be disbudded. On Oct. 26, my vet dehorned him; I've posted post-op pictures taken during his recovery on the "Health" page and if you're thinking about surgically dehorning a goat you might want to take a look at the wonderful job my vet did. Otherwise, click on his link below to see what the rest of this gorgous little guy looks like - and what his kids look like! http://www.debpnigerians.com/debpstejasdeoro.htm

GOOD MEASURE FARM ORO DE LUNA*S
This handsome golden buck is literally a dream come true for me....I've been in love with his dam, PGCH Enchanted Hill Moonflower*D, since the first time I saw her. She possesses what I consider to be the Holy Grail of Nigerian Dwarf udders. She's only produced four bucks, and now one of them is mine - thank you, Linda!!!!!
